Do the Ryzen 5000 series CPUs support ECC memory? (Even if not validated.)

The reason for the question is that many online resources report 'ECC:
yes' for Ryzen 3000 series CPUs, while they report 'ECC: no' for the new
Ryzen 5000 series CPUs. (As far as I understand, the consumer Ryzen 3000
series CPUs do not have validated ECC support, but it is in principle there,
for use when also supported by the motherboard.)

Found this Tech site concerning a Preview of Vermeer processors, before they were released to the public, that it will support ECC  Dram: https://wccftech.com/amd-zen-3-ryzen-4000-vermeer-cpus-detailed-up-to-16-cores-32-threads/

Moving on, AMD's Ryzen 4000 'Vermeer" Desktop CPUs with Zen 3 cores will introduce a slightly improved scalable data fabric, supporting up to 512 GB per DRAM channel or up to 1 TB of ECC DRAM. For the memory interface, Ryzen 4000 Desktop CPUs will retain native DDR4-3200 speeds. There will be 2 unified memory controllers on the CPU, each supporting one DRAM channel for a total of 2 DIMMs per channel

EDIT: The Vermeer processors does support ECC. I went to 2 MSI X570 Motherboards RAM QVL List for the Vermeer and I did see in each one where at least one RAM Memory module supports ECC:

This specific  Corsair is the only one showing support for ECC on both of MSI X570 Motherboards that I checked.

Unfortunately, the product page for CMK16GX4M2B3000C15R on the corsair site does not mention ECC at all.  Various webshops also list it as non-ECC.  Searching for ECC on the corsair site returns only a few old hits - it seems corsair does not make ECC memory at all.  A typo from MSI?

Looked at one of Gigabytes X570 Motherboards and it also has Three ECC Ram but for Crucial: https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Memory/mb_memory_x570-aorus-master_vermeer.pdf

Just go Asus or MSI or Gigabyte or ASRock and check any X570 Motherboards Vermeer QVL List and see if any RAM is listed under ECC like I did.

EDIT: Went to the first listed Crucial RAM and under Specs it says it is NON-ECC so why does Gigabyte list it as ECC Compatible?

It is a UDIMM RAM Memory module though.

AMD support was contacted.  After a second direct question it got answered:

"yes, Ryzen 5000 series will support ECC but it also depend on the motherboard please check
with them."
