Ryzen 5 5500 Low power consumption
Is it normal that the r5 5500 processor only draws max 30w under load, processor is auto overclocked to 4.35ghz in Ryzen Master. Average temperature is 72 degrees. From time to time there are small stutters. Is that how it's supposed to be?

Blazeioo, where are you getting these power numbers? If you are not using Ryzen Master (RM), then they are probably wrong. Please post a screenshot of RM running Cinebench R23. Thanks and enjoy, John.

This is the result with a clock speed of 4.2Ghz without OC. Cinebench multicore benchmark. Only 40W

Thanks, blazeioo. The only application you can trust is Ryzen Master. Please post the screenshot I requested. I suggest you uninstall all third party utilities especially from the MB vendor. Thanks and enjoy, John.

blazeioo, thanks, this looks good. All cores are running over 4 GHz and you are starting to throttle due to limit of EDC. Your temperature is fine. Enjoy, John.
