Hello,
I've noticed that while under heavy gameplay, my PC will sometimes restart by itself. Upon further inspection with the Event Viewer, I discovered errors occurring with the following details:
"A fatal hardware error has occurred.
Reported by component: Processor Core
Error Source: Machine Check Exception
Error Type: Cache Hierarchy Error
Processor APIC ID: 3"
Since discovering these, I have updated my BIOS and chipset drivers, but the issue continues. For those curious, I am not overclocking. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
My specs:
- Motherboard: Asus Prime X570-P
- BIOS: American Megatrends, 3001, 12/04/2020 (as recommended from the ASUS website)
- GPU: Radeon RX 5500 XT
