No matter what comibation of settings I choose in BIOS or even Windows, my chip will not boost above 3,800Mhz under load e.g. Cinebench
I am pretty sure it's an issue with this Asus ROG Strix B450-F board in how it handles the CPU. Here is an example attached to this post while running Ryzen Master and Cinebench. Latest amd chipset drivers, latest BIOS version installed
Another issue with leaving everything in the BIOS at auto was the SOC voltage was reading 1.35v! I had to manually specify it to 1.1v. Just nothing works as intended even with "Load Optimized Defaults"
The thing is if I manually do an all core overclock of 4.1Ghz I can get stability at 1.375v so I know the CPU can handle 4.1 at reasonable voltages but I shouldn't have to manually overclock to get advertised speeds. Even if I got like 3,950 I would be happy
Is there any advanced steps anyone can think of? I've fiddled with literally every beginner or intermediate step a user should try from power plan tweaking to manual PPT, TDC and EDC refinement to literally 0 change.
