Ryzen 5 2600x is compatible with RAM at 3200Mhz?

I am in transition from FM2 + to AM4, I have read that the frequencies supported by the processor are 2933Mhz, but I want to buy a pair in 3200Mhz.

Is it necessary to make an OC to the processor? If not, how do I reach compatibility with these frequencies?

The motherboard manufacturer's website for the motherboard you choose has a list of all certified RAM modules and the speeds they run at. No processor overclocking is required, just set the RAM speed and timings in BIOS.
