I am currently looking for motherboards for the 1600x. I want to use ECC buffered memory (fully working and registered), and I understand the 1600x processor supports it.
However, I'm not sure what to look for in motherboards besides 'supports ECC and non-ECC memory' which I've seen in a few mobos. Yet I've read anecdotes about how some boards say they support ECC memory but actually don't.
I'm currently looking at these two boards:
TUF X470-PLUS GAMING | Motherboards | ASUS Canada
ASRock > AB350 Pro4
Is there any way to know that these boards are guaranteed to fully support ECC memory?
