R5 5500 overheat

My R5 5500 is sitting at 70C in bios and hits 95C in games. I have the stock cooler and the CPU’s voltage is 1.550 (I haven’t touched).

Killian2123, what are you using to measure temperature? John.

Bios and the rx580 software. But it also dies half the time on startup or just past it

Entirely too high voltage. At stock settings it should range from 0.3V-0.4V at idle up to around 1.3V-1.4V at peak load.

What motherboard do you have and what BIOS version? Is it compatible with the R5 5500?
