R5 3600 STOCK VOLTAGE TOO HIGH?

Specs:

r5 3600

Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB

2x8 GB 2800 Mhz RAM

M.2 NVME XPG Gammix S5

ASRock AB350M-HDV

BIOS version 5.90

Windows 10 operating system

So I just upgraded my processor from r5 2600 to r5 3600 and when i went into Ryzen master and/or HWinfo i saw that when im idling or browsing the web my voltage is over 1.4V. I dont feel like this is normal. After I installed the new CPU i went into BIOS and restored UEFI Defaults and just enabled XMP. I havent touched anything else. Should I update my BIOS and if yes, to which one? What would you guys reccomend?

Good day!

For Ryzen 3000 and 5000 series, this voltage is normal. If the processor is detected normally, the BIOS version is P5.90 or later, and the BIOS settings are applied by default in automatic mode, then you have nothing to worry about.

But.... AMD recommends 1.35V for everyday use and 1.4V for short bursts of time. Well I think I will just update my BIOS and see what happens.

You can read how Gigabytes are overclocked, it also talks about voltages
