PC Processors

Hi all, I'm new here, so I hope I'm not bringing up something that you're all tired of. I am upgrading my processor from a i7-3610 QM and would like to know:1-Will the AMD plug right in? 2-I do need a faster chip, what would you recommend? (I'm not a gamer-this is internet work).

For your motherboard you will need to upgrade with an Intel Processor.

AMD Processors don't fit in Intel Motherboard sockets.
