Processor replacement for R5 2400G

Hello Everybody,

I currently have a Asus B450-prime MB with a AMD ryzen 5 2400g + Radeon Vega graphics processor, (AM4 socket).  Microsoft tell me that this AMD processor isn't going to be supported by Win11.

My question is: Is there a suitable replacement processor I can buy, which I can swap over to satisfy Ms's requirements?

Basic computing use, plus minimal 3D CAD usage.  The processor won't be taxed with anything hard.

I don't want to swap out too many other parts if possible.

Your help would be much appreciated.

Regards

Sorry to make myself into the topic.

Do you have a dedicated GPU installed? If not, Goodplay showed you the way, or maybe a 5700G can be a good choice too, seen it liste at 159 on Amazon.com

Thanks for the replies.

Firstly, I really, really don't want to mess with the BIOS unless I need to.  I need to do a bit of reading up before attempting that.

As for the GPU, no, it's the on board Radeon Vega graphics.  Don't mind fitting a graphics card if need be, so I'll check out the 5700.

Many thanks for the help.
