Processor change
Hi there.
I bought a computer six years ago and it has an AMD E1-2500 APU with Radeon Graphics inside. Now I realized it has become slower and I want to change the processor for a better one. Can you help me to choose a compatible and good one?
PS. I use my computer for work and it has a tactile screen.
Thanks in advance.

No unless you want to spend more money than what your laptop is worth to change it.
That APU is soldered to the Laptop's Motherboard so you would need to take it to a computer shop that is able to unsolder and solder a new APU on the motherboard of your laptop.
Plus you need to contact your Laptop's Support to find out which APU upgrade is compatible with your Laptop's BIOS Version you have install and which APU is compatible in general with the Specs of your laptop.
From CPU World concerning your Mobile APU: https://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Jaguar/AMD-E1-Series%20E1-2500.html
Some other APUs that are the same socket as your - FT3:

He will have to pay more than his laptops worth to get it changed and there are so few people who can succesfully change a onboard cpu.
Best way to go is buying a new one, or an used one, then clone the drives and then wipe the drives. Then selling it, or doing none of this and keeping it as a backup computer.
