If you are developing a software/program then you can always open a thread at AMD Forum's Developer's Forum from here: https://community.amd.com/t5/newcomers-start-here/bd-p/newcomer-forum
From there the AMD Moderator will whitelist you to the proper Developer's Forum depending on what software or program you are using or need help with.
The Turion and Sempron are separate processors. Which one is the one you have installed in your laptop?
According to CPU World the Turion Mobile Processor uses Motherboard Socket S1 (S1G1).
The Sempron Mobile Processor uses S1 (S1G1) and 754 sockets depending on which model you have.
Go to CPU World and input your Processor find out its specs: https://www.cpu-world.com/index.html
As for Datasheets you can go here to AMD Tech site: AMD Technical and Documentation also to this non-AMD tech site: https://www.datasheetarchive.com/
Hello :
I am very sorry to say i still cannot solve my problem.
As far as i have tried i come to conclude that my laptop should be too old to get the proper documentation .
In terms of standard of updating info my laptop is out of range
The point is i have downloaled all manuals but could not find a match between the pinouts of my laptop procesor and the pimouts shoeed in documentation.
A question is still remaining: is thete any way i can send potograph/video of my laptop procesor to you ???
download either CPU-Z or SPECCY to determine the exact Laptop APU Processor you have installed. Then upload an image showing the Processor.
To up load a photo or image click on the CAMERA above in the task bar above the message. Then click on the image and click on "Done".
Hello :
I will follow your tips and soon send you back all data and photos and data concerning my laptop.
See you soon
Regards
Hello
Here i am again in response to your last tips
I find extremely useful both CPU-Z and SPECCY for which i am deep thankfull to you ,save that i could mot use for the following reasons i will explain as brief as i can
Two months ago my laptop an old one worked fine.
Suddently the CPU ceased to run and never could i make it work again.
All i was able to do was trying to checking Power Supply circiits and thermal overheating protecting circuits.
But in so doing i needed to find the proper pin-outs to make measurements with a tester located in the socket so i had to go up to the maintenance manual.
Then it came the big surprise when i found out that the published pinouts in the book didn't match to those ones in the hatdware.
All i was left to do was addressing AMD FORUM for help and here i am.
Along this message i adjoint photos and videos hoping that all of them would be worth usefull for you in an effort to explain clearer about this subject.
As allways i am deep acknowleged to you for your gently attendance
From your image I found the specs for the Toshiba Satellite A210 which has a Turion x64 TL60 Processor: http://www.notebookreview.com/notebookreview/toshiba-satellite-pro-a210-review/
Here is CPU World specs on that processor: https://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K8/AMD-Turion%2064%20X2%20Mobile%20technology%20TL-60%20-%20TMDTL60HA...
It uses a Laptop Motherboard S1 (S1G1). According to CPU World you can upgrade the processor: https://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K8/AMD-Turion%2064%20X2%20Mobile%20technology%20TL-60%20-%20TMDTL60HA...
The Specs for the Satellite A215 uses a different APU Processor - AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core TL-56: http://www.notebookreview.com/notebookreview/toshiba-satellite-a215-review/
Both APU Processors the TL56 & TL60 are very similar to each other. Uses the same Socket.
NOTE: You video hasn't been approved yet to be uploaded so I couldn't watch it.
If you laptop is not working I don't believe it will be worth repairing. It will be easier to purchase the laptop's Motherboard with the processor installed already from Toshiba Support or maybe Ebay.
Hello once more
I have read carefully your last answer and guess i will need some little time to attend all that information from the threads pointed.
Once i had them properly studied i would take what it seems to me the final decision regarding whether to keep on working on the repairing or else to give up and replace the mother board.
Any way i want yo express my full satisfaction for all the gently attendance to all my request.
On the other hand i am willing (and looking forward too) to engage myself with people who are now working on Development about Software in general terms which applies to AMD new Procesors family.
So the occasion is worth saying that my deep interest now runs on the chances i can take on that subject as well as the possibility to conect with that people who i guess you belong too and be colaborative as much as i can.
Finally i wish you have a nice day and i am full opend-mind to any suggestions from your part.
Thank you very much.
In few days ahead i will contact you again
