I recently got my rx 580 and i paired it with my Ryzen 5 2400G , but i want to upgrade so something more powerful and my question is should i pair it with a 2600 or will it bottleneck with my gpu . Ive tried the online bottleneck calculator and it gives me a 20% bottleneck but i really want to be sure about the result and if its worth to upgrade or not.

The term "bottleneck" is so overused it's crazy, and there's really no way to answer it definitively since some games are more heavily GPU bound and others more heavily CPU bound, and if the game doesn't effectively use more than 4 cores there really won't be any difference since the 2400G and 2600 are basically the same processor with the 2600 just having two extra cores.

So, no, don't do that upgrade.

you should be fine, I have used a similar setup and no problems with anything slowing down games at all
