I have just upgraded from a ryzen 5 2600 to a ryzen 7 5700x, running on an asus prime b450m-a. Prior to switching, I updated the bios to the correct version to support the new chip. CPU fan was going crazy on startup then calmed down, and I got an error message saying the fTPM was corrupted or structure changed.
I have bitlocker enabled on my OS drive (I have windows 10), and I selected the option to not reset the fTPM (pressing N). After this, my monitor shows no signal.
I have tried cutting AC power and removing the CMOS battery for a few minutes, and the system will power on like normal but with no signal on the monitor. I reinstalled the old cpu and there is still no signal.
I'm hoping I haven't busted anything permanently.

Since the fTPM is built into the processor, changing the CPU changes the encryption, which is why you were prompted with the error message. You will need to use Bitlocker recovery key to access the drive. Alternately you could have disabled Bitlocker prior to swapping the CPU, then reenable it after.
This has nothing to do with no display/signal to monitor. The system should still POST and allow access to BIOS. You may want to double-check your connections, graphics card plugged in and power cables connected, anything you may have touched or changed in the system while swapping the CPU.

Thanks for informing. What do you think about the fact that the display was working up until I selected the option to not reset the fTPM on the error prompt?
I fixed the issue on advice from another website. I finally got windows to boot properly and installed the new gpu and all of the memory. I'm still in the process of re-encrypting the drives so that they automatically unlock on startup. Thanks for the assistance.
