I have a GIGABYTE GA-880GM-USB3L motherboard (rev. 3.1), with an FX 4100 processor I would like to improve it with an 8350+ Wraith Cooler, but I think it will not give and I do not want to buy it in vain, which do I recommend FX 8120? And if possible the FX 8350 please
I would advise upgrading to a new Socket AM4 processor. It's a much larger investment, but instead of a mediocre to no performance improvement, you will see a 75% to 100% performance improvement.
I'm not thinking about such a big investment, just a small improvement, I also have a small budget
but comparing, the processor is unnecessary, it is minimal, I will put a good video card thanks
According to Gigabytes Support for your motherboard's CPU Supported list, it supports up to FX 8100:GA-880GM-USB3L (rev. 3.1) | Motherboard - GIGABYTE Global
My old MSI 970A G43 has a vast range of processors supported.

Wow....Good call....
You will notice a substantial difference in performance moving from the 4100 to the 8350... The wraith cooler does fit, but isn't very good.
