I have an Acer Nitro 5 an515-42 laptop with Ryzen 5 2500u and RX 560x. I have added 16GB ram to the original 8GB to get 24GB. My Ryzen 5 2500u which clocks at 2.0 GHz is supposed to turbo to 3.6 GHz but I have never seen it go past around 2.9 GHz. It's not like the temperatures are too high either because when I ran cinebench the temps were always below 70 degrees C and the max temp is 95C. Using NitroSense I had my fans also go at the max speed which is over 5500 rpm. Can someone please tell me why my CPU won't overclock past 2.9 GHz. Thank you!
