That depends on your motherboard manufacturer support for the new BIOS verision.
Normally each BIOS update is compatible with all of the processors on the motherboard's CPU SUPPORT LIST.
But I have seen in some BIOS updates mentioning that if a User updates to a specific BIOS version certain processors will become incompatible with the new BIOS. I believe due to BIOS size limitations on the motherboard chip.
So you need to go to your motherboard's BIOS Download page and read the Warnings or Alert notices BEFORE updating to the BIOS version to see if it will make any previous CPU's incompatible or not.
Also the 4xx Motherboard series has been mentioned that they will support the new 5xxx processor starting in January 2021 unless they have rushed through a BIOS version before then.
