Is anyone running Avid media composer on a Ryzen 5950x. I'm trying but hangs at reading user settings.
System: AMS Ryzen 5950x, Asus Rog crosshair VIII, 64g ram Nvidia Quadro RTX 4000, Samsun gen 4 m.2
Have you asked on the Avid support forum, you may not meet their 'qualified system' requirements ?
It isn't technically qualified but it was the sonic software that installs with Asus MB that was causing the problem.
