Installing 3000 series on x470

Hello, so with the new launch of ryzen 3000 series, I am very interested in buying a 3700x.
Problem is that I am in no need for something like PCIE 4.0, and would rather save some money on a motherboard by buying an x470 of the likes. I was thinking the MSI x470 gaming pro carbon.

Problem for me is that right now I have a I7-6700, and if I were to buy a 3700x with this motherboard I would need to update bios with a ryzen CPU, which I don't have. Anything else I can do? Or any tips on what I can/should do.

These are the parts I am planning on buying:
Ryzen 3700x
Trident Z 3200 MHZ 2x 8gb
MSI x470 gaming pro carbon

low cost x570 are now available which would be a better choice for a Ryzen 3000 series processor

Thanks for your input guys!

I've decided to go for an x570 instead, so I don't have to go through the hassle of updating bios, and then I have the ability to upgrade later on the same motherboard if AMD keeps their promise.
