if you have AMD CPU and you PC keep restarting or turning itself off in mid game check and see if you CPU is over clock or not last windows update and driver update + this dame stupid bios update keep forcing the CPU to over clock to 4.7 I got lucky I noticed it otherwise i would lose my CPU and motherboard . also the CPU running 60 without doing anything it was fine running around 30 before the bios update and windows update but after that 2 update the temp is going up be careful !!!!! 

if you have MSI mother board do not update to the last bios .

i update it to 7B85v2B  Bios

this bios about is 

 Update to AGESA ComboAm4v2PI 1.2.0.7

Change the default setting of Secure Boot.

I wonder if you can flash back to version 7B85v29 of the BIOS?  That's what I would try.

Hey BigAL01.

I'm running on an MSI MPG X570 Gaming Plus version 7C37vAI.  If you use CPUZ for info it will translate to A H0 AMD AGESA ComboAm4v2PI 1.2.0.7.

MSI Live Update shows an A I0 and I can't find any information on the AGESA number.  They don't list it in the updates if you search for a manual download, as if it doesn't exist.

Are you running a B550 board?  I've not seen that BIOS number.

I only searched on the motherboard this conversation started with, the MSI B450 Gaming PRO Carbon MAX WiFi.  I'm not using an MSI motherboard.

yes i did after i found out that get my CPU over heat but still i have that system issue thanks to windows that need this bios update

yes i have  firmware tpm (ftpm) issues this bios (7B85v2B ) update should be fix for that .. windows and AMD F us over that BS

I have an a Ryzen 2700 on an MSI MPG X570 board and perhaps got lucky when I flashed the BIOS with that latest update and guess what.  It failed, leaving my motherboard a doorstop.  However, I have registered all of my MSI, AMD, Creative, and Logitech products and that motherboard was still under warranty.  I did have to pay the shipping to MSI but got the BIOS repaired and all is well now.  Better to have that happen than lose it like you came near to doing.  I don't overclock anything anymore.  It's just not worth it!

that MB has bios flsh back button the back i/o you can use it to recover from a bad flash. read your manual or ask google.

Same temperature problems after installing Windows 11 22H2 Update (before +-40 & after +-65 in idle)

Then i wasted a some days with try to readjust the curveoptimizer, vcore and forces me to decrease the cpu
clock max boost to 4.7ghz, otherwise the core temp rises above 80°C while playing Valorant at 1080p

But everything was fine again with installing the chipset update "amd_chipset_software_4.08.09.2337"

Before 20 min i reinstalled Radeon 22.8.2 and now i cant belive what i see in hwinfo (because 9.1=stuttering & 9.2=radeon software keeps crashing watching youtube)
just opera gx is running with 4 YT tabs in background and yt 1 vid running + 4 tabs amd-community ^^

This keeps happening to me everyday, sometimes even on boot. And i have the latest BIOS version and GPU driver...
