Hi AMD comunnity,
I have finished building my first gaming pc. Went with 5600X and RX6700 XT with X570 chipset from ASUS (Rog Strix).
Now im trying to configure/optimize it and see that the processor says max frequency in EUFI 4000mhz when it can boost to 4.6GHZ.
it also says its base clock in task manager is 4000mhz.
so im confused.
I want to know how can I get the processor to fluctuate between 3.7 ( base clock) and boost 4.6 ??
What do I have to enable?
Cheers!
You may be better asking on the asus (rog) support forum, other users with your specific board model can probably offer best bios option choices.
Okay, ill try there aswell but do you know if i have to manually set the multipler in BIOS to get the cpu to run stock speeds?
in BIOS its only set to 40x.
thanks
'CPU Clock' and 'CPU Ratio' should be set to auto (37 on my board).
Basically, manually changing multiplier clock makes it a fixed speed.
Hi I changed in EUFI
-Precision boost overdrive ON
-TPU 1 ON
and it changed top frequency to 4200mhz,
also adjusted cpu voltage.
so look like cpus arent running as advertised without some configuration.
also why doesnt task manager show fluctaions in frequency ? only ryzen master shows this?
