Yesterday while playing warzone I had the HW info running and even though I'm using the patched bios version 1413 the HW info recorded a high voltage on the SOC and a very high temperature above 100C. The motherboard is an Asus TUF b650 wifi . The CPU cooler is an Endorfy Fera 5 and I have never experienced such a temperature before. Unfortunately the HW info shows some bad information as well.
Hi, I've heard that even after update there are still some problems with vSoC spikes. Try to see if you can do this inside BIOS, or revert back to a version that can.
Also, read the other value for cpu soc inside HWiNFO to see if it has the same jump. Because 1.8 that is dangerously high.
Hello. Have you solved this problem?
I have the same problem now. My SOC voltage readings rise from 1.240 to 1.340, MISC voltage from 1.100 to 1.173. Things are much worse for you. I temporarily solved this problem by disabling AMD Adrenaline, only when it was running did this problem occur.
1.34 is just a tad above the hard limit imposed by vendors. However you can lower this value manually by... A lot!
I'm running stable 32gb 6000 cl32 with 1.2v vSoC with a 7950X
Try it.
Posters, if all of you really want to know what is going on, I urge you to quit using third party utilities and use only Ryzen Master for the true behavior of your Ryzen Processor. John.
EDIT: I should also say that some MB vendors offer applications to monitor and optimize performance of Ryzen processors. Some of these applications make changes that cause problems. I strongly advise that all these applications be removed from your system.
Ryzen Master does not indicate the maximum and minimum values, but only the relevant changes.
