It's been over a month since I finished the build, and everything is working perfectly fine except for one strange phenomenon with the processor during idle conditions. I've noticed that in idle situations, the CPU temperature always stays around the 50-60°C range when checked in various apps like HWinfo, Ryzen Master, and my AIO software (Lian Li). However, under load (during gaming or productivity tasks), the temperatures are normal and as expected.
Things I have tried:-
Despite trying all the aforementioned methods the idle temps wouldn't budge and remained unchanged. However temps under load are greatly improved with CO -30 and 80c thermal limit. I am well aware that this chip is designed to handle these temps effectively but still a part of me is worried. It should be noted that I live in a warm region with an approx. room temp of 30c.
What further steps should I take from here? I believe I've tried every single solution I found on the internet, and I'm looking for some fresh insights.
Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions!
My specs
3x bottom intake
1x rear intake
3x side exhaust (AIO)

Looks like the ambiet temps was the culprit. I moved the PC to the room with AC these are the temps now
Lowest idle temp – 37.9
Highest idle temp – 41
R23 Single core load:-
Max - 53
AVG - 49
Cyberpunk temps - same as R23 Single core load
We should keep in mind that my case is a bit unconventional case(011 vision) too.

I think that last statement is key. An idle temp that is 20°C over ambient on a 7000-series processor is normal.
If you still feel it is too high you could try using ECO mode in BIOS to set the processor TDP lower.
I am skeptical about the ECO mode as I don't want to lose perfomance during gaming as I get better temps and freq under load. So I think I am gonna adjust with these idle temps. Thanks for the advice.
Give it a try, see how it performs. Worst case you set it back?
Sure will give it a try. I have linked a image with various settings I have tried. Please take a look and tell me whether I am losing perfomance or I am fine.
Jayadinesh, I think FunkZ is correct. If you would like to reduce all your temperatures a little, I suggest you run your pump and radiator fans on 12 Volts or al least max out you setting for the them in the BIOS fan control. John.
I did ran the fans and pump at max for about 10 mins in idle. The temps didn't change.
Thanks, Jayadinesh. Wow, that is amassing! is your ambient really only30C? Please post a screenshot of Ryzen Master (RM) at idle. Thanks, John.
What you mean ONLY 30!! its hot here :(. I have uninstalled the ryzen master cause it casued some boot issues after using the validate feature on the curve optimizer tab. But I have compared ryzen master HWinfo and HWmonitor but were just off by 0.5c to 1c.
I am planing to shift my pc to a room with air conditioner. By lowering the ambient temps to 21c to see whether this will improve my idle temps
Jayadinesh, thanks. Enjoy, John.
EDIT: Idle temperature should drop by 9C.

Jayadinesh, thanks, looks good. John.
