Have i damaged my 5800x3D in any way?

I know its a newbie question. But i have tried to set "cpu clock ratio" to 45.50, but i forgot to change the voltages. So i accidentally left it on auto. I did a cpu-z bench that was totally unstable, my cpu clocks have gone to 4.1ghz instead of 4.5ghz. I didn't even finished the bench after seeing it was unstable. when i saw the core temp showing the VID at 1.40v and imediattely stopped the test.

My PPT was at 112w, TDC at 72A, and EDC at 120A. My loadline calibration as at level 2, i think. And -30 all core.

My mobo is a b550m-plus wifi II using the lastest bios 3002, agesa 1.2.0.8.

By leaving voltages on auto and increasing the clock, could i have damaged my cpu? Is it possible? Have i damaged the V-cache in any way?

Because after this i feel that im not getting as much fps I used to get on games now, even after loading default settings on my bios and formatting my system.

Hi mate what temp did your CPU hit. Go into your bios and reset your bios to default optimised settings. . If you're using PBO tuner. Delete the auto oc and see what your clock speeds are. I have my 5800x3d on custom water loop and hitting 82 degres Celcius. You really have to have a good cooling system to oc this CPU. I'm getting 4599 MHz on most cores.

I'm using PBO tuner as well. I changed my PPT 120W. TDC 75W EDC 140. Manually in the bios itself so I don't have to reset them on reboot. Scalar is set to 1 temp limit and max boost is set by pbo2 tuner didn't touch them. -30 on the curve optimiser and it boots that on start through pbo2 tuner. I hit 4599 MHz and 100% stable. Max CPU voltage I hit is 1.2v. It also depends on the mobo you use. I only use Gigabyte as they are the best. Asus, MSI and ASRock are all **bleep**e if you know what I mean.

I'm pretty sure that 5800x3d will down clock if it is under thermal stress and voltage over boost automatically. That's why you need to load default optimised settings in you bios to reset the CPU clock speed.
