HI All,
On powering up my PC this morning I noticed that BOINC was only running 4 task's, instead of the usual 8. Task Manager reported 1 socket, 2 cores with 4 Logical processors. It's not an Overheating issue or power supply, Any help would be gratefully received.

Issue resolved,
Checked/unchecked Processor count in msconfig, see other recent posts.
Task Manager reported 1 socket, 4 cores with 8 Logical processors..
