I am planning to buy a laptop (Acer Aspire 7- Ryzen 5 5500U 8GB RAM- Windows Home).

Will the Android Emulator on Android Studio work smoothly? Does Windows Home have Hyper-V support? If there is no Hyper-V support, will it still work smoothly?

Does Windows 10 Home support Hyper-V:

Windows 10 Home edition doesn't support Hyper-V feature, it can only be enabled on Windows 10 Enterprise, Pro, or Education. If you want to use virtual machine, you need to use third-party VM software, such as VMware and VirtualBox.May 24, 2020
