Hello,

Can someone walk me through the exact process you need to perform with Windows 11 TPM when upgrading CPU?

I heard that you will have to buy a whole new TPM module if you don't 100% correctly do the TPM procedure (CLEAR -> DISABLE -> SWAP CPU -> RE-ENABLE).

Windows instructions tell you to reboot and then it will just re-initialize automatically.

Do you have to jump into BIOS and disable TPM, before it finishes rebooting back to windows?

Or do you have to let it reboot fully, and then turn off the PC and disable TPM from BIOS?
