Hi,
I think you should give us more information on whats happening as well as a full system specs.
Rtx 3070ti
B550 Gaming plus
Dpnt know what kinda information you need could you tell me
Saad1402, please stay out of BIOS. Ryzen uses the multiplier to control the core frequency. Please do a Clear CMOS and stay out of BIOS. Post a screenshot of Ryzen Master (RM) while running Cinebench R24 multicore. Thanks and enjoy, John.
I think its prob the Cpu clock speed maximum being set at 547
Thanks, Saad1402. Did you a Clear CMOS before SS? I think the problem has to do with your expedition into BIOS. Please stay out of BIOS after doing a Clear BIOS. Post a screenshot of Ryzen Master (RM) while running Cinebench R24 multicore. Thanks and enjoy, John.
Make sure that your motherboard is on an updated BIOS that supports the 5800X processor.
Then do a clear CMOS or load optimized defaults and see if the chip is recognized correctly in the BIOS.
already cleared my CMOS and have all the new Drivers
As FunkZ says, make sure your have flashed the latest BIOS and even if so, flash it again now to clear whatever problem is in there, then stay out of BIOS. Enjoy, John.
You need to verify that you are on at least BIOS release v17 or higher for the MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus. If that is not the motherboard you have then you need to find the support page for your board.
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MPG-B550-GAMING-PLUS/support#cpu
Then you need to RTFM to learn how to load optimized defaults so that your processor is recognized correctly by the BIOS. In the English version it's found on page 49.

Just did that and nothing changed
Saad1402, have you reflashed the latest BIOS? Next is to install a fresh copy of Windows, including formatting the C: disk. Please post a screenshot of Ryzen Master (RM) while running Cinebench R24 multicore. I really need to see RM Advanced View! Enjoy, John.
Cant upload the picture cuz its apparently to big you got dc or sum

Got a new problem i fixed the Cpu problem and just went into my bios and saw that the Motherboard tempature is apparently 127 Celcius which is too hot i think any fixes on that?
Saad1402, that is a MB vendor problem. They are responsible for the BIOS. Please complain to them. Still would like to see the RM screenshot. How did you fix the CPU problem? Enjoy, John.
