Compatible motherboard and CPU?
Hello, I currently have the AMD RYZEN 5 5600X CPU, and am thinking of upgrading my motherboard to the:
ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING WIFI II
I've heard a lot about needing to update the BIOS beforehand to make sure the motherboard is compatible with the CPU, but I'm still a bit confused.
If anyone could tell me what ill need to do to make sure everything works correctly when using them that would be great, please. Just to help me understand.
Thanks!

Sorry... Is your board that bad?
Wouldn't it better to save a couple hundred for the AM5 in the longer run?
But, back to the topic.
Some boards come with the right BIOS for Zen3 but that depends for how long has it been on the shelf.
My Brother got a B550 Strix A and didn't needed a BIOS update.

The official Asus product page says supported with initial bios.
What current motherboard do you have, do you need to upgrade?
