Changing The Maximum Processor State For 1600

So basically I'm using the "Balanced" power plan (not the Ryzen one) and I've changed the maximum processor state to 90%.

I was wondering...

Is it safe to change the maximum processor state for Ryzen CPUs? Any incompatibility that I should expect?

(Using Ryzen 1600 with stock cooler)

~ Thank you so much!

Yes it's  safe, though since it's not a notebook and Ryzen both runs cool and has a high temperature tolerance, there's really no reason to.

Yea there's no problem in letting the CPU run at 100%, which is what it was designed for.

Hey Zion, thanks for your reply!

But what if I limit the core clock speed (via power plan editor)? Is it still safe?

Hello there again, thank you so much for your help!

The problem is that I'm way too sensitive about my hardware temperatures and stuff like that and I'm trying hard to keep them in a healthy condition. You know, I rarely buy a new hardware/computer (Something like every 5 years) and their life span matters a lot to me.

Thank you again!
