Here I am on motherboard MSI X470 GAMING CARBON bios to date and an amd 2600X, I install the version of the official site of Ryzen Master, no problem the software works in version 1.4.0.0728, I go in the setting of the program , I see Ryzen Master Update so I click on Check for Updates, after that opens AMD AutoUpdate and tells me that I am in version 1.4.0.0728 and new version available 1.5.0.850.
I install so the new version, but then can not open AMD Ryzen Master, a small window tries to open after my double click but nothing starts, even after a reboot can not open the program version 1.5 , I am forced to install the 1.5 and release version 1.4 which opens without problem. if someone would help me to run the latest version 1.5 thanks ?

then last question that has nothing to do, is that the game mode in the program is really effective for the game performance knowing that the CPU runs on 3 heart with this mode ?

nîco33112, please go here and get the latest Ryzen Master (RM) and manually install it.  Sorry, I cannot answer your gaming question.  Enjoy, John.

EDIT: I just updated RM to 1.5.0.850.  The download window said 'Successful update' after the download finished, but then several seconds later it said 'Applying update'.  I did not close the open RM and when the update really completed, RM closed.  I opened it and it runs fine.  Perhaps you did not wait for the update to complete.

EDIT 2: I suspect 1.5.0.850 is for Threadripper 2, so please stick with 1.4.0.0728 for now.  Will get back to you.

I think I have waited long enough, I got the message "Successful update". I am on a SSD. I think I have waited a bit in the end. I can always try again. but when I start version 1.15 a small window type msdos opens and it closes quickly and then nothing any active program ... I remain for the moment on version 1.14 with the game mode activate (3 hearts)

nîco33112, AMD now knows about the error and it should be corrected soon (a few days, today is a holiday in the USA).  I think 1.4.0.728 is the latest version for your Ryzen.   If yours is lower than this, then please go to the link I posted above, DL and install 1.4.0.728.  Thanks and enjoy, John.

Same problem with version 1.5.0.850 on my Threadripper 2950x. Tried to update from 1.4.0.728 and fresh install. Every time, when I start Ryzen Master, it's close. Windows log show Application Error:

effendi, did you use "Check for updates" in Ryzen Master or use the link above to DL the latest?  If you used "Check for updates", please try the link I posted above to DL the latest and install it.  It would probably be best to remove the old one first.  Please let us know how you make out.  Thanks and enjoy, John.

I used "check for updates" and update RM to version 1.5.0.850. It's not work. Then I uninstalled RM and install again from your link- same problem, same Application Error.

effendi, AMD is aware of the problems.  I think 1.5.0.850 is for a few of the high end Threadripper 2s.  The DL page used to have two separate DLs but the "Check for updates" apparently delivered 1.5.0.850.  Now they seem to have consolidated RM to one file with version number 1.5.1.862.  I used this to install RM on my new install and got 1.5.0.850.  I have a 2990WX and RM works fine.  I suspect that 1.5.0.850 gets installed on all processors or at least some that cannot run it.  I think you will need to wait till AMD gets their game together - hopefully soon.  Enjoy, John.
