Hi everyone!, Today I decided to overclocking my 1950X to 3.80Ghz on all cores this is my first time OCing a CPU.
My question is it's safe to keep it like this or I'm damaging my CPU lifespan over time in any way? I'm safe or not?
My settings on Ryzen Master:
3.8Ghz on all cores
CPU Voltage: 1.25v (*Update I managed to OC it at 1.22 voltage 3.8Ghz on all cores with no issues )
idel 24c~28c
Max temps 65c
Max VRAM: temps 70c
-Keep in mind so far I'm getting good results and faster renders stably with no issues or crashes.
*Some helpful infos:
Motherboard: ASRock X399 taichi
Case: Corsair Carbide AIR 540.
CPU cooler: Noctua NH-U14S dual-fans config.
freakyyyy, I would say you are doing well. Here are your specifications:
So, 68C is the maximum that Ryzen will allow it to go. A better cooler might allow you to go a little faster. I use an Enermx Liqtech TR4 CPU Cooler. I converted to Liquid several generations a go. If you have a specific test we can run to compare, please let me know. Please use ONLY Ryzen Master (RM) for real measurements. HWixxx does not have a good repetition. Enjoy, John.
Oh is that you finally I RMA my old mobo ;D, OK we will test some stuff.
freakyyyy, what is this? You lost me. Enjoy, John.
Hahaha well you still remember me?
Sorry, freakyyyy, you lost me. Enjoy, John.
Whatever well thank you so much for help
