Ryzen 7 5700x Overheating Issues
Here is my PC configuration....
1. Processor: Ryzen 7 5700x
2. Motherboard: Asus Tuf Gaming B450M-pro II
3. AIO liquid cooler: Deepcool 240
4. Stock casing fan: 8 piece 180mm
5. Nvme hp ex900 1tb
6. Optane memory 32gb
7. Gpu: MSI GeForce GTX 1650 Oc Edition
8. Ram: Adata 3200 Mhz 32 gb 16gb+16gb
9. Psu: Corsair 550 w
The CPU temperature starts at 50°C to 55°C when I turn on my PC. When I run heavy software or games, the temperature increases rapidly due to excessive heat in the CPU. Even when the PC is idle, the CPU temperature remains at 50°C to 55°C.
Please Give me the correct solution
Hi everyone. So I've pretty much fixated on building a music production/beatmaking/sound application PC with Ryzen 7 5700X. I wanted to go with Alder Lake so badly, but it turned out to be a too big of a cost for me (not from US/Western markets and from a not so economically developed country).
Alas, I was wondering if there would be performance cuts in opting for B450 vs B550?
B450 are pretty much being discontinued from selling in stores in my country and the prices are solid (I could get something like Asus Prime B450M-A/K II or MSI B450M-A PRO MAX for 70€. The cheapest (seemingly OK) B550 is Gigabyte B550M DS3H (currently on sale for around 85€).
Aside from lack of PCIe 4, should I save 15-20 euros and go for B450? As far as I can see, B450 lists 3200MHz RAM as O.C. (meaning I'd have to use XMP, right?) whereas on B550 it's marked without O.C.(is JEDEC the correct term)? Is this an issue in long term?
Also, I'd potentially put in a GTX 680 (found it for 60€ which I think is a nice deal), but can the aforementioned motherboards handle it without issues? Gaming would honestly be a non-often recurring activity, maybe once in a long while if I need to vent, so the GPU wouldn't be stressed most of the time.
What do you guys think? THANKS IN ADVANCE!
