Installed a new video card yesterday (MSI Geforce 2060). As soon as I booted up, I got over voltage errors.
For some reason the CPU voltage is stuck at 1.5 and will not change!
Things I've tried:
- Swapped the power supply
- Reset CMOS
- Set BIOS defaults
- Flashed the BIOS
- Put old Video Card back in
- Attempted to manually set the Voltage in BIOS
Not sure why the CPU voltage won't change.
CPU is AMD Ryzen 7 2700x
Mobo is Asus brand
RAM is corsair brand
Could this be a motherboard issue since the bios isn't changing the cpu voltage? Or is the CPU at fault?
