AMD Ryzen 5 3600x work on max frequency

Hi,

My question is very strange.

I assembled a completely new configuration.

Nzxt 510i

asrock b450m steel legend

ryzen 5 3660x

corsair vengeance rgb pro 32gb (4x8gb) ddr4 3200mhz

msi geforce gtx 1660 super gaming x

MSI MAG CoreLiquid 240r

PSU Corsair 550

1 М.2, 1 ssd, 2 WD 7200rpm

Мy problem is that after installing a new windows processor frequency is always on max.

I haven't touched anything in the BIOS

Please help me. I don't think this is normal

I would suggest you try running Ryzen Master to check that the issue isn't with the Cam software.

In settings, go to 'system' then 'power and sleep', then click on 'additional power settings' and it will show you what power plan you are on, choose balanced. then click on 'change plan settings' then click on 'change advanced power settings' and it will give you a little window that says power options. scroll down to where it says 'processer power management' and click on the little + sign. You will see 3 options, click on the 'minimum power state' and see what number it says. Set it to 5%, apply and save and keep maximum at 100%. This may help?
