AMD 7800X3D temps jumping around

Hi, I have just finished a build with a 7800X3D. Te temps constantly jump around, for example at idle 47,46,46,48,51,48,57,53, 48 etc. is this normal behaviour?

I was getting some spikes up to the seventies which cause the fans to ramp up. This was annoying.

I have an aio water cooler on the chip with a 360 rad.

just wondering if something is wrong with the processor?

I have a 7950X3D and I can confirm that temps jump quickly on this with any CPU activity. Run Cinebench on it, so where it pegs and how steady it holds at the top temp. That should give you a better idea.
