I have an older HP pavillion with an A12 9720 processor , which touts 4 compute cores , 8 graphics cores at 758MHz core clock speed with turbo boost of up to 800MHz. I fhtere are genuinely 8 cores then it should by reason of those cores be able to run some graphic extensive games at medium to low settings with at minimum 24Fps which at least be cinematic quality game play, Ive seen videos of some 2020 first person shooters on this same SOC with R7 graphics run close to 34Fps on low settings. Again are there genuinely 8 graphics cores or are they just simply modules that thread graphics data as though there were 8 cores??
