Hi! I just upgraded to a 5950x, and it's my first time having a CPU with more than 8 cores. Is it normal to have that big of a max temp difference between CCD1 and 2? This particular screenshot is after a 10 minute multicore run in CR23. The difference is even larger after a 10 minute single core run, but I think that actually is normal? Maybe? lol. I also noticed that the core powers differ quite a bit. This is with PBO off and CPB on, all else stock, except for ram. EDIT: imgur link to photo, since I noticed the red makes it kind of hard to see on the inserted image, at least for me, on mobile.
In all of my googling, I did find other folks talking about temp differences in their 12-16 core CPUs, but not many with ones as drastic as mine. Some say that a 10° difference is normal, and some say it means a defective chip, especially if it goes over 10°. Would love some insight from those more knowledgeable than me! Thanks!
