5800x3d high cpu usage in games (1440p 165hz)
pairing this cpu with a 4070ti and I get constant stuttering in nearly all my games and the only thing I can point it to is my cpu usage. My gpu never wants to exceed 90% while my cpu is eating nearly 70 and up. Is this normal or did I get a faulty one?

My guess is that some hardware oand software in your computer are not matched properly.
I am using a R7 5800x3d with a ASUS X570 48 gb 3600 c16 trident ram and an RX6700XT.
I haven't modified the clock speeds ans such. My CPU and GPU both maintain around 60% usage and the clock speeds are showing only 1/2 of their max capability while playing Modern Warfare II while live streaming and listening to music in the background.
No Studdering, in fact, I am streaming at 6000bps 1080p60 and my game maintains a consistent 95 to 130fps.
I need to figure out how to get this 5800X3D up to its 4.5ghz.

I think you’re right as well. I did a lot of digging last night kept seeing in resource monitor “system” keeps calling with pid 4. After swapping usbs around. Opening up the rig i looked up my ram just to see. It didnt pass QVL for the max wifi. Could this be a factor? Im thinking it could definitely explain the random blue screens i had. going to keep digging today but that was the most clear indicator i could find atm.
