Hello
I've got AMD Ryzen 7 5700G and i wish to update driver for the graphics.
I'm trying to install drivers from here https://www.amd.com/en/support/downloads/drivers.html/processors/ryzen/ryzen-5000-series/amd-ryzen-7...
It says that install software detected AMD graphics card that it's not supported (but I have no other graphics card that this from 5700G). Please help.
and I have got error message ERROR 182
Info about the driver - version 31.0.14046.0
I have installed Adrenalin 24.9.1 with my 5700G Vega Graphics. (Driver version 31.0.219213.1000)
Per my installed Adrenalin software that is the most "up to date" version, and to my knowledge that is the last supported version for Vega at this time.
The download link for the 5700G shows that 24.12.1 or 25.2.1 are supported, however I believe the page is incorrect. If you check for example the 5600G processor, which uses identical graphics architecture to the 5700G, you will see that 24.9.1 is the latest version.
I downloaded the 24.12.1 and get the same error 182 trying to install.
Have you tried the 24.9.1 version? That release date should be 08/2024 so it is newer than what you currently have installed.
I have installed through AMD Auto Updater drivers to
31.0.21921.1000 (in windows manager of devices)
And it's AMD version 24.9.1 like you said. So probably it's the lastest working drivers - but imho it's bug in newest drivers. AMD should fix it.
This is the latest 24.9.1 for 5600G or 5700G.
Mine is 5600G and 6600XT.
So, I install the newest 25.2.1 and only 6600G driver installed.
To make "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" installed properly and showing my 5600G, I need to install again 24.9.1 driver, but because I do not use it so I just let it like that.
Long time ago, when I install under 24.9.1, both driver were installed at the same time. Now, if I need to be like that I need to install 25.2.1 and then 24.9.1.
