I was reading in some specs on wikichip.org and it said that these only have max memory controller count of 2. Is this correct? Meaning I can only run two memory modules with this CPU?

splagger, see specifications from AMD. Two channel means that two memory sticks can transfer data at the same time, doubling the speed. I did not not read the wiki link, but suggest you get AMD information from AMD. Check main board for memory maximum. Enjoy, John.

AMD isn't very specific sometimes. And the wiki posts controller count, not just channels.

The listing shows channels 2, expected, but also controller count 2.
