Hello, My 2990wx fails when running CPU intensive tasks. The screen goes black and the keyboard and mouse turn off but one can still hear the PC running.
the setup is as follows:
msi x399 sli motherboard
2990wx threadripper
Titan RTX
96gb Ram 2400mhz hyperx predator
Samsung 970 evo m.2
no overclocking on anything
running ubuntu 18.04
The only solution I found to fix this was to disable the C-state from the bios but that causes a lot of lag even in the simple tasks. I am looking for another solution as this renders the PC useless unfortunately.
