Hi,
I just replaced G14 2021 with 2023 model with Ryzen 7 7735HS (iGPU 680m) and have got a problem with high idle power consumption. With G-Helper and the same settings between both laptops, it jumped from 6w-7w in 2021 to 12w in 2023 while idle.
From what I can see, it seems to be due to a high iGPU 680m power consumption. For some unknown reason, it keeps max 2200mhz GPU clocks and 2400mhz Mem clock nearly all the time, consuming 5-6w alone. It drops to 400mhz for a second and then back to full 2200mhz. GPU-Z, HWInfo64 and Adrenaline confirm that information.
I can't really see any interesting settings related to iGPU power consumption in G-Helper or Adrenaline (just changed to HYPR-RX Eco whatever that means, but it didn't change anything). That guy had the same problem but his trick with GPU Scaling doesn't work for me - https://www.reddit.com/r/ZephyrusG15/comments/1c1vmbi/finally_found_remedy_to_high_power_consumption...
It seems like it is some power management setting keeping iGPU at max clocks all the time. Any idea where to search for potential solutions?
Cheers
