So i just recently installed this card onto my rig making sure everything was compatible and i noticed a few things after installing the drivers for the card. I noticed that the MHZ was set to 2000 while not going down and was causing the card to get well hot. I thought installed it wrong but after looking around people are just saying its due to using two monitors at once. I've never had this happen with previous cards though it might just be me, how could i get a workaround for this as my second screen is a drawing tablet and i use it for work. Take in note that this is while the PC is idle and nothing is running so I'm not sure what it could be, unless its the screen refresh rates or the 2 screens being different types of displays (since one is a drawing tablet and another is a regular monitor)?  i will add below the specifications of my pc see if it helps anyone or if anyone can help me.

Is the card new or used?

You also failed to mention your PSU make and model.  Minimum is 450W so even a 550W PSU is going to be borderline.

You mentioned previous other cards and make and model of those cards would also help.

Did you uninstall the old drivers prior to installing these.

Does this board have the Armory Crate.  If it does and you have it enabled, disable it.  It has been known to cause numerous issues.

Recommend using the AMD DDU app to do a clean uninstall of chipset and GPU drivers.  Then reset the BIOS to default.  Your motherboard user manual will guide you through that.  Next do a cold system restart, shut computer off, power off, and let sit for 5-6 min. restart the machine then download the latest chipset drivers from AMD for your motherboard and install them. Next download the latest drivers for the RX 580 and install them.  Restart the machine and see if that helps.
