Windows 7 Pro Boot

Good Evening , have a problem on one of my old systems.

Got windows 7 pro installed and fully updated but once i install the driver and reboot my machine it does not want to boot have to restore the system to get it to work again and if you install the driver again same thing

i have tried both releases of the 64bit driver for the machine.

works perfectly fine if i install windows 10 on it. but do not want to use windows 10

GPU is R9 270X

I know there have been a lot of complaints with a couple of the latest drivers on Windows 10 even so not sure if any of those issues carry over to Windows 7? I don't know what driver versions you have tried loading. I would suggest you run DDU and go back to a 19.5.1 driver or earlier.

The gentleman I am going to mention, still uses Windows 7 I think and he may have another or better thought on this. I will mention him so he sees this thread. kingfish‌  He may not reply back to you until you fill in the blanks with you driver version and rest of system specs. 64 bit?  What CPU and Motherboard? Computer model if not custom built.
