I have a AMD A10-9600P APU with
AMD Radeon R5 (the first one) and
AMD Radeon R7 M340 (the discrete one)
In some games like CS GO, it uses the discrete GPU. But for other games like COD MW3 it uses R5 for some reason.
I've had this problem since I bought this laptop. (Acer Aspire - E5-553G) and my friend who has a similar laptop and a similar GPU has the exact same problem.
Why is it that we can't chose which games or programmes will use the discrete GPU? I only have the option to select "Game/E-Sports" mode from Radeon Software and that doesn't change the GPU used.
So, is there a way to choose which games will use my R7 M340 GPU? I've checked task manager and Radeon Software at the same time. GPU 2 (which is R7) is not used for COD MW3. The performance is really bad, like 25 fps which should be more.
(With two GPU's combined, I think they are called R8 M445DX but I don'T know what it means exactly.)

Edit: Also, the "graphics settings" in Windows settings show only the R5 in both power savings and high performance modes.
