Anything I read online says Q1 this year. Internet says the 9070XTs expected release date is March. There is nothing official from what I can find online. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Ryzen 7800X3D - Radeon 7900XTX - MSI Tomahawk X670e MB - 64gb 6000mhz G-Skill Neo - Noctua NH D15 - Seasonic Focus V3 GX-1000W PSU - 4TB Samsung Gen. 5 NVMe - Fractal Torrent Case - ROG PG48UQ OLED

That's what I heard as well. March release, then the person went on talk that March is also NVidia's launch date for 5xxx as it's mostly a paper launch till then.

Unfortunately, there won't be a 8000 Radeon Desktop series like the 8900XTX.

The next cards will be 9070XT and 9070, followed by something like 9060. Still powerful by the look of leaked benchs, marginally above 4080 and possibly more than a match for the 5070.

We still wish for a BIG NAVI chip though, make it something like a VEGA return.

That is what is happening correct?  After splitting Vega post Radeon VII into the RDNA and CDNA chips, AMD is going back to a unified architecture in UDNA, which should again feature high end GPUs.  Not sure what the launch date will be on those or if they will be released under the 9080 and 9090 branding.

They said this time around, 9070XT could be the very best of RDNA4.

The Englishman

Right.  But it isn't clear if the UDNA releases will stack on top of RDNA4 in the 9000 series, or if that will be an entirely new launch.
