Previously I was using a RX 6700 XT reference - rock solid - running on windows 10 64 bit along with a 5600x and 2x16 gb G.skill Trident Z and 750W Enermax gold PSU. Monitor is a LG UltraGear 34GN.
I don't overclock or tune in any regards - all is standard out of the box.
So now I got a brand new shiny RX 7900 XT reference card. I uninstalled the previous drivers and installed the newest drivers
22.12.1 for Radeon RX 7900 Series
So I actually went for the game I've been playing the most for the past year on my RX 6700 XT, without any issues - The Division 2.
However when starting up the game, it constantly crashes and turns of my PC - when starting up again, it comes up with message about "Default radeon WattMan settings have been restored".
I have never encountered this issue before as in never.
Running Far Cry 6 on Ultra settings do not cause this behavior.
However, for some reason Division 2 seems to be very GPU heavy, as it on the former 6700 XT was also causing quite a high load of the fans on the 6700 XT, when comparing to Far cry 6 so perhaps some instability due to load, but I was wondering if anyone else have experience with this types of issues - and only sees it in some circumstances.
