vr problem with Rx 9070 xt
Hello,
I just changed my rtx 3070 ti for an rx 9070 xt (ASRock AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Taichi)
I previously uninstalled the nvidia drivers, installed the amd drivers and reinstalled the vr headset software (Pimax play for a Pimax Crystal light)
Unfortunately I can't get over ten fps... with the 3070 I was at over 70
I have installed the latest drivers and in games on screen, the results are good.
My processor is an amd 5800 x3d with 32gb ram
Has anyone tried a VR headset connected to displayport with this new card ?
Thanks.

Thank you!! Funny you went from 3070 Ti to 9070 XT and I just went from 3070 to 9070! I was banging my head against my desk trying to figure this out. I truly appreciate you following up on your post! AMD certainly isn't for the faint of heart...

Returned to say that while disabling HAGS fixed Assetto Corsa CM in VR for me, it introduced stuttering and various issues in other VR titles. I decided to toggle it back on until I find more than 1 game that requires it off, and just toggle/restart when I want to play AC. Not ideal, and I'm a bit surprised this is an issue at all. 25.3.2 drivers did not fix the issue.

So, here's some feedback on the RX 9070 XT in virtual reality. After about fifteen days of use, I validated my presets on Il2 and Mocrosoft Flight Simulator 2020. I was able to increase the resolution of my Pimax Crystal Light headset to 85%, or 3664 x 3666.
I'm maintaining 72 fps on Il2 "Battle of Stalingrad" . I simply had to lower the cloud settings to medium. The rest: visualization at 130 km, detail at x4, shadows at medium, sharpen.
The card runs at 3100 MHz on average, 100% GPU utilization. Average power consumption: 340 W. In Adrenaline, I only enable Radeon Enhanced Sync and set the CG performance to "custom" to increase it to 3100 MHz.
For MS FS 2020: with the same Pimax settings, I achieve 40/45 fps. Even with the headset at 72 Hz, the simulation is smooth (this wouldn't be the case with Il2, where you have to maintain 72 fps). Therefore, I don't use the Radeon Enhanced Sync setting, as it's far from 72 fps.
