Hi. I'm looking for a monitor with Freesync to use with Xbox Series X. Considering TUF VG27BQ, but different retailers posts different specs. Some says it supports G-sync, others Freesync and some both. The Xbox only works with Freesync (as far as I can tell).

Anybody out there who can help me clarify this?

Here is AMD Recommended Monitors for Freesync.  The list may not be Up-to-Date but your Monitor is not listed as of yet: https://www.amd.com/en/products/freesync-monitors

I would open a "Chat" session with Asus Support and ask them directly if that monitor supports Freesync or not.

Asus specs on your Monitor it supports G-Sync and Adaptive-Sync which is what FreeSync uses: https://www.asus.com/us/Monitors/TUF-Gaming-VG27BQ/specifications/

But at Asus website describing your specific Monitor does say it support Freesync: https://www.asus.com/us/Monitors/TUF-Gaming-VG27BQ/
